Little Falls NJ
Little Falls, located in Passaic County, shares a border with Montclair as well as part of Montclair State University.  It is extremely convenient to NYC and Newark, as bus and train lines go to both places on a regular basis.  Located near Route 46, Little Falls has easy access to shopping malls and large movie theaters. The old Morris Canal, once an integral part of North Jersey’s industrial centers, winds through the town, giving a sense of history. Little Falls is on the Passaic River, and the mill-town feeling still persists, as many of the old mill buildings have been converted into condos and lofts.
A lifelong resident and children’s librarian described the town to the Bergen Record this way: “It’s a really nice place to live. It’s convenient for commuters and yet small enough to be considered small-town America.”
